Welcome to Our Co-ordination Team!
At Our Coordination Team, our top priority is to ensure that you and your child are connected with the most suitable Educator for your needs. We understand the importance of finding the perfect match, and our dedicated team works tirelessly to make that happen.
We believe that every child deserves the best care and education possible, and we strive to make that a reality. However, we want to be transparent with you. While we do our best to match you with your preferred Educator, there are instances when availability may pose a challenge.But fear not! Even in these situations, we are committed to providing you with as many options as possible.
FollowThe Process
- Contact us on 3245 4721 and a Practice Mentor will complete a request for care; the Coordination will then search for the best possible care options available.
- Once an Educator has been found to meet your requirements, you will need to complete the online Enrolment form https://athomefdc.hubworks.com.au or Scan QR Code
- Click ENROL – No Login Required
- Details of the Educator(s) will be provided so you can set up a convenient time for both you, your child, and the Educator(s)
- During the interview with the Educator, you should discuss: Fees, hours, your needs, and the needs of your child.
- Once happy with the selected Educator and your choice of care has been made, you will discuss with the Educator a start date.
- The Educator will then inform the Coordination Unit of the start date.
- The Coordination Unit will visit your child in the first month to see how your child has settled into care, we will then may contact you, to ensure you as a family are also happy.Â
Fees
Family Day Educators are self-employed individuals who run their own Child Care Service under supervision and support of the Coordination Unit. Each Educator establishes their own Fee Schedule with the Schemes Policies and Procedures guidelines, in addition to Government Regulations. During the enrolment process, you will be informed of the fees that are applicable to you.
At Home Family Day Care Scheme is an approved service and you may be entitled to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) contact Services Australia (Child Care Subsidy) www.servicesaustralia.gov.au  or 13 61 50
At Home Family Day Care Service collects the CCS portion of childcare payments from the Family Assistance Office. Gap payments or full fee payments are paid weekly to the Educator directly via Direct Debit on a weekly basis unless other arrangements are made.
Once you have made your choice of educator who will care for your child and your child starts care with your chosen Educator, one of our Practice Mentors will visit your child to see how they are settling into care with our Educator.
Our service aims to develop strong collaborative relationships with families and encourage them to contact The Coordination team at any time to discuss their child’s care.
